An Invaluable Life Skill:
In an increasingly digital world, touch typing is an essential life skill for children and teenagers; a skill that once learnt, will be appreciated forever. A touch typist is not reliant on looking down at the keyboard, so word patterns are learnt using muscle memory, thus allowing ideas to flow more easily. As they become more proficient, touch typists can type as fast as they can think, which can significantly boost productivity, making them invaluable in any working environment... now and in the future!
Small Class Sizes:
The classes are kept small with a student-teacher ratio of no more than 6-1, so that everyone gets lots of individual attention. The groups are mixed-age and ability, tailored to each student, from beginner to advanced levels. Everyone works at a pace that is suitable for them.
Encouraging Teachers, Experienced in SEN:
The classes are suitable for all, including those with SEN, to help everyone thrive and go some way towards levelling the playing field.
Progress reports:
These are sent at the end of the week and tailored to each child. They include a summary from the touch typing course, including hints, tips and websites for practice.
